Rooted in Caledonia
Caledonia isn’t just where I live, it’s where I’ve built my life with my wife, Heather, and our three children. Like a lot of families here, we’re invested in this community, not just for today, but for the long term.
This is where we work, where our kids are growing up, and where we’ve chosen to put down roots. That’s why what happens in Ward 3 matters to me on a personal level.
When I think about growth, infrastructure, and the decisions being made today, I’m thinking about the kind of community my kids are growing up in, and what it’s going to look like for them in the years ahead.
Work, Community, and Giving Back
I run a home renovation business here in Caledonia, where trust, communication, and follow-through aren’t optional; they’re expected. Every project depends on listening carefully, solving problems, and delivering on what I say I’ll do.
My wife Heather and I run an annual toy and food drive in Caledonia, something we look forward to every year. It brings people together to support local families and make sure help gets where it’s needed. I also coach the HYFF Black Bears, a local youth flag football team. Being involved with kids in the community, including my own, keeps me grounded in what families are dealing with day to day.
I currently serve as President of the Caledonia Chamber of Commerce, where I work alongside local businesses and community members to support and strengthen our local economy. Outside of that, I stay involved in the community whenever I can, because showing up matters.
Why I’m Running
I’m not a career politician, and I’m not running because I was looking for a title. I’m running because of what I’ve been hearing from people across Ward 3.
Too many residents feel out of the loop when decisions are being made. They want clear information, more transparency, and a councillor who actually responds when it matters.
That’s the standard I already hold myself to in my work and in my community, and it’s the same standard I’ll bring to council.
